What's new
The polish train — nine fixes and a transmutator
v0.18.0 — 2026-07-11
- What-to-craft stopped lying. Recipes with no real trade history sort last ("unproven"), and a lone sky-high listing can't crown itself number one anymore — it ranks at what the market actually pays and wears an "ask held" tag with the real ask on it. The all-capes era is over. A Vol/day column shows the throughput evidence.
- New tool — Transmutation margins. Every tier-up and enchant-up the transmutator offers, ranked by profit with the real silver fees straight from the game data. Craft menu → Transmute.
- The calculators got personal. Craft or refine in one city, sell in another. And if you buy materials outside the market — trade discords, guild stock — type your own price right in the materials table; it wears a "your price" tag and travels in the link like everything else.
- Scores wear letters now. S+ to D on the trade boards instead of a seven-digit estimate that looked like a bug. Same ranking math, honest packaging; the header tooltip explains the letters.
- The region switcher actually switches on the first click now. Sorry about that one — the fix was one word.
- One account, two doors. Link Discord and email on the Account page and either one signs you in.
- A face at last — favicon in the tab, and a proper branded card when you paste an undercut.market link into Discord.
- Faster boards. What-to-craft joins the caching the other boards use, and the database stopped doing pointless work on every scan.
- The best seven rows on every ranked board sit behind the counter now (was five — and What-to-craft had none at all). Free users see every number; Pro sees the names.
The front page knows your watchlist
v0.17.0 — 2026-07-11
- Log in and the front page opens with your watchlist overnight — each watched item's price now and how far it moved since yesterday, freshness dot included. Biggest movers first.
- Craft and flip results now travel. Paste a link in Discord and it unfurls with the item and the numbers; a Copy link button sits next to every result. The address always carried the whole calculation. Now it looks the part when shared.
- Search engines can finally find the place. Sitemap, page descriptions, the boring plumbing.
Ranked by what you can actually clear
v0.16.0 — 2026-07-10
- The flip, haul and Black Market boards now rank by score — roughly the silver a day a trade can realistically clear. Unit profit is weighed against how much both markets actually move per day, how old the prices are, and how far the ask sits from that market's own average. A fat margin on a dead item stops topping the list.
- Every row shows its score, and the column header explains the math in plain words. Pro CSV exports carry it too.
- The best five trades on each board sit behind the counter. Free shows their numbers — profit, margin, volume, score — but the item and cities stay covered until you're Pro. Everything from row six down is open, same as before.
Suspect prices, held back
v0.15.0 — 2026-07-10
- Market manipulation stops reaching your numbers. A lone listing priced far off its market's own 7-day average no longer poisons craft costs, profit rankings, or alerts — the calculators treat it as missing and say which city was held back.
- On an item's own page nothing is hidden. A suspect listing shows with a "suspect ask" mark so you can judge it yourself.
- Price alerts only fire on prices the ledger believes. A spike from one manipulated listing stays quiet; the alert waits for a real move.
Five fixes
v0.14.0 — 2026-07-10
- Switching servers sticks now, even before you log in. Pick west once and every page follows until you change it back.
- Item price charts stopped folding time on itself. Days run left to right for every city, a gap in a city's record shows as a gap instead of a zigzag, and Caerleon wears the brass line.
- The front page stops showing raw item ids like T8_RANDOM_DUNGEON_ELITE_TOKEN_D4. Skins, tokens and other non-economy items are out of the fresh tiles and the ticker, and search puts anything without a proper name at the bottom.
- Items the render service has no picture for show an empty frame instead of a broken image.
The front counter
v0.13.0 — 2026-07-10
- The top bar breathes again. Tools live under two menus, Craft and Trade, with Gold and Pro beside them; your name opens the account menu with your watchlist and alerts. Scanner status moved to the footer where it belongs.
- There's an account page now. Your plan, how many watchlist slots and alerts you're using, your home server, and (for Pro) subscription management in one place.
- The flipper opens on the best spread of the moment, the haul planner frames your route with the red-zone warning where it counts, the Black Market page reads like the back-alley deal it is, and What to craft podiums the top three. The craft calculator opens on a real item instead of an empty form.
- Free accounts see the top 20 of each ranked scan; Pro sees the whole board. Every calculator stays free and uncapped, same as always.
The foundation
v0.12.0 — 2026-07-10
- Pages are fast now. The heavy tools were re-checking the whole ledger on every click; results are shared for up to a minute (the scanner itself only rewrites prices every two), so switching tabs stops feeling like a loading screen. Every price keeps its freshness chip.
- The flipper stops showing fantasy margins. A lone 900k ask in a city where the item actually trades at 12k used to read as a 7,000% flip; rows like that are held back with the reason, and a "show them anyway" link keeps the raw view one click away. Items nothing crafts with are held back the same way, and haul rows now show how many actually sell per day at the destination.
- The ticker moves again and fills the whole bar on wide screens, and it now carries each server's freshest-moving items, linked.
- The Status page failures are fixed at the root. Two scanner feeds were writing the same rows in different orders and the database kept killing one of them; they queue politely now. Status also shows what it can when one ledger is missing instead of erroring the whole page.
The counter
v0.11.0 — 2026-07-10
- Undercut has a new look. The home page opens on the freshest prices on your server's floor, and a live ticker across the top shows every server's gold price and how much of its market is fresh right now.
- The wide tables (flip, what to craft, haul, black market) now use the whole screen instead of a narrow centre column.
- Pages load quicker. They're compressed on the way to you, and the fonts stop re-downloading every time you click.
- Fixed the failed rows on the Status page. The scanner was starving itself for database connections just after a restart; it gets enough now, and a job that fails retries within minutes instead of sitting red for a day.
The till
v0.10.0 — 2026-07-10
- Undercut Pro exists. The calculators stay free forever; Pro lifts the watchlist and alert limits and adds CSV export of full flip and craft rankings. See the Pro page in the footer for the honest comparison.
- Purchasing opens once payments finish wiring up — nothing you use today gets taken away.
Keys and tripwires
v0.9.0 — 2026-07-10
- You can now open an account with just an email and password — no Discord needed. Same watchlist, presets and home region either way.
- Price alerts. On any item page, tell Undercut "when this drops to X" or "when this climbs to Y" — the scanner checks about every minute and your fired alerts wait on the new Alerts page.
- The craft calculator takes journal profit now. If you run journals, add what a filled book nets you per craft and the ledger counts it.
The week's rhythm
v0.8.0 — 2026-07-10
- Item pages now read the calendar. When an item reliably sells higher on certain weekdays, its page says so — which day peaks, which day dips, and by how much. Craft mid-week, sell on the spike.
- No rhythm shown means there isn't one worth trading on. We'd rather stay quiet than invent a pattern.
The exchange board
v0.7.0 — 2026-07-10
- New Gold page. The gold price in silver, charted back a week to a year, with the 24-hour move and the window's high and low. Gold spikes on weekends and premium waves — now you can see the rhythm and time your buys.
- Logging in with Discord now works on the demo domain.
The wire
v0.6.0 — 2026-07-09
- Prices now stream in live. Every market order any player opens in-game reaches Undercut within seconds — watch the green freshness dots multiply, especially on the Black Market page where orders move fast.
- Nothing to do on your end. Same pages, same chips, just fresher numbers.
The fence's ledger
v0.5.0 — 2026-07-09
- New Black Market tool. Every standing Black Market buy order lined up against the cheapest royal-city price for the same item at the same quality — buy it there, sell it to the fence, keep the spread minus tax.
- Quality matters at the Black Market and the tool respects it. A Masterpiece order and a Normal order are different trades.
The wagon ledger
v0.4.0 — 2026-07-09
- New Haul tool for transporters. Pick where you buy, where you sell and what your mount carries — every cargo gets ranked by what one trip actually clears, with both cities' prices and their freshness right there.
- Caerleon routes wear a full-loot warning. The road's risk is your bet; the math at least is honest.
The spread scanner
v0.3.0 — 2026-07-09
- New Flip tool. Every item's best cross-city spread on one page — where to buy it, where to relist it, and what's actually left after taxes and setup fees eat their ~9% (more without premium).
- Daily volume sits next to every margin, because a fat spread on an item nobody buys is silver in prison. Filter by tier, minimum price, volume and how fresh you need the prices to be.
The refinery opens
v0.2.0 — 2026-07-09
- New Refine tool. Pick planks, bars, cloth, leather or stone blocks and see the whole tier chain weighed at once — profit and silver-per-focus for every tier, plus a city comparison so you refine where the return stack is tallest.
- The return-rate math got more honest. Every production city now grants its base return on anything you make there, and the city's specialty bonus applies by itself when you craft or refine the right thing in the right place. The "100 spec" checkbox is gone — your mastery makes crafts cheaper in focus and better in quality, not higher in returns, and the numbers now say so.
The counter opens
v0.1.0 — 2026-07-09
- Undercut is live. Pick any craftable item and see exactly what one craft earns you — tax, fees, returned materials and focus, all itemized like a proper ledger.
- Not sure what to make? "What to craft" ranks every recipe in your city by profit, or by silver per focus point if you're spending focus.
- Every price on the site shows how fresh it is. Green means seen within the hour, amber within the day, red means treat it as rumor. No other tool tells you this.
- All three servers (Europe, West, East) from day one. Log in with Discord to keep a watchlist, save your calculator setups and set your home region.
